Tony Grayson

President and General Manager

Northstar Enterprise + Defense

Tony Grayson is a former U.S. Navy Submarine Commander and recipient of the prestigious Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for Leadership, given annually to only two Commanding Officers across the Navy. As a nuclear-trained officer certified to command and operate a nuclear power plant, Tony brings over 25 years of experience spanning defense, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, and sustainable data center innovation.

Following his distinguished military career, Tony held senior leadership roles at Meta, AWS, and Oracle, where he oversaw global infrastructure initiatives. At Oracle, he managed a $1.3B+ global infrastructure budget, led the development of 36 enterprise cloud regions, Top Secret and Secret Cloud, and pioneered the Dedicated Region Cloud—driving $100M+ contracts and accelerating deployment times by 78%. He also played a critical role in scaling Zoom’s infrastructure during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tony later founded a modular data center startup that redefined the market by combining cutting-edge design with sustainable composite materials and delivering AI/ML-optimized, edge-to-core deployments across enterprise and defense sectors.

Named a Top 10 Data Center Influencer (2021–2025), Tony continues to shape the future of hybrid cloud, edge compute, and infrastructure modernization through executive leadership, public speaking, and thought leadership.
